Texas Snow

Well I can't figure out how to put the pictures in my story in the right order so just pretend.
Normally this time of year in Texas, I start to freak about tornado season. And yes, we've already had one. But, yesterday it started to snow! In TEXAS! We woke up this morning to closed schools (Texans get very frazzled about snow!) and about 5 inches of very, very wet snow! So the kids decided to see if they could build a snowman bigger than the colassol Utah Snowman of 2008! They roped in some of their buddies and Kendall. She went out under protest but lookin good!

Everything is bigger in Texas! These are Mason and Dan's friends!

They used most of the snow in the front yard and were contemplating scrapping it off the roof! I went in the house at this point, not wanting to see that particular activity, and waited for the scream and the thud!

Kendall had just gotten out of the shower and was getting gorgeous when Mason decided to attempt the biggest snowman record. He nagged and guilted her until she went out. Daniel and the buddies came soon after! They spent the better part of the day out in the snow. The sun came out eventually and everything was dripping, but I feel sure the snowman will last a good while. Maybe he will ward away the tornados!

Love the snowman. It only took all the snow in Stephenville to build.
Kendall is always the poser. So was Jerry in the house under an electric blanket with thermals and socks on? Also, I love your family pictures. They are awesome! And I agree that Mason should stick with the tough guy smile.
